Description

Three Young Ballerinas – Classical Figurative Study Original oil on canvas, 8" × 10". Signed lower right “Plisov 2012.” Presented in a warm medium-brown wooden frame (as shown). Three young ballerinas in white tutus and pointe shoes stand with their backs to the viewer, arms linked in a quiet moment of camaraderie. Their hair is neatly styled in buns adorned with small white flowers. The figures are set against a deep black background with a simple gray stage floor, creating a strong contrast that emphasizes the luminous white costumes and graceful silhouettes. The painting is executed in a refined realist manner, with careful attention to the folds of the tutus, the soft modeling of the shoulders, and the intimate, understated mood of the scene. This charming, intimate work captures a tender moment of youthful dance—ideal for traditional or contemporary interiors seeking a graceful figurative accent.
