Silver and Lemon Still Life

Paintings

Description

Silver and Lemon Still Life Original oil on canvas, 20" × 20". Signed lower right “Plisov 2020.” Presented in a simple black frame (as shown). A refined classical still life arranged on a dark polished wooden table against a deep black background. A gleaming silver coffee pot stands tall at the center, reflecting light and surrounding objects with precise highlights. Beside it rest a white porcelain cup and saucer decorated with a delicate butterfly and pink flower motif, a halved lemon with a curling yellow peel, two small pink orchid blossoms, a tipped silver cup containing dark cherries, and a silver knife. The composition balances metallic reflections, soft floral accents, and the bright citrus against rich darkness, executed with careful attention to texture, light, and surface detail in a traditional realist manner. This elegant, intimate still life offers both technical refinement and quiet visual pleasure—ideal for traditional or sophisticated contemporary interiors.
